The Power of Self-Awareness in Business Partnerships

Last week, I was playing around with Sage (my ChatGPT sidekick) and I decided to put in mine and Jill’s Human Design and PRINT® results. I asked 'Sage' to map out our strengths, challenge areas and natural roles in the business just to see what would come up.
And of course what came up was freakishly accurate.

It put words to things we’ve felt but hadn’t fully articulated.
It confirmed why certain things flow effortlessly between us and why other areas require more conscious effort.
It even spelled out our natural leadership styles and how we each bring something different, but equally valuable, to the way we run our business and support our clients.

I'll admit, it wasn’t completely surprising to us because we've built our partnership on self-awareness, open conversations and a deep respect for what makes each of us unique. But, it was a powerful reminder of just how much clarity comes from deeply understanding yourself and the people you work with.

What gave us a moment of gratitude for the work we've put in, also confirmed that when we know what really drives us (and what secretly holds us back), we gain so much momentum. Decisions feel easier. Roles become clearer. The unspoken dynamics that shape how we work together suddenly make sense.

For Jill and I, this level of awareness helps us lean into our strengths, support each other in the right ways and navigate challenges with more ease. And we honestly think every business partnership and team can benefit from this kind of insight. Not just for better working relationships but for building something in a way that feels right.

If you're interested in exploring this further for you and your business partner (or 2IC) or team, get in touch. It is also great for those in job-share arrangements!
